Dr. Jumana Hassoun

Dentist

Dr. Jumana Hassoun is a licensed general dentist with over 15 years of international experience and a special interest in periodontics and dental implants. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through gentle, personalized care.

She holds a Master’s degree in Periodontics from Damascus University and completed advanced clinical training at the University at Buffalo (USA). Dr. Jumana has also practiced dentistry in the Gulf region, gaining extensive experience with diverse dental needs.

Now practicing in Canada, Dr. Jumana is NDEB certified and a proud member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).

Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her husband and three children. She believes in building long-term patient relationships through clear communication, compassion, and comfort-focused care.

Dr. Haidar Elmuttalibi

Dentist

Dr. Haidar Elmuttalibi is a general dentist with over 15 years of clinical experience. He graduated in 2010 from Al-Mustansiriyah University, College of Dentistry (Baghdad), where he developed a strong foundation in all aspects of general dentistry. In 2015, he completed his Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, with advanced training in tooth restoration and complex root canal treatments.

Dr. Haidar is known for his precision, clinical skill, and gentle approach. He is committed to helping patients maintain healthy, functional, and confident smiles, while prioritizing patient comfort, trust, and high-quality care at every visit.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Haidar enjoys spending time with his family, watching action movies, following Manchester United, and relaxing with video games.

Dr. Nada Alawady

Dentist

Dr. Nada Alawady is a general dentist with over 15 years of experience dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry in Egypt and completed a Master’s degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Manchester (UK).

After practicing dentistry in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Nada relocated to Canada in 2020, where she successfully completed the NDEB equivalency process and now practices as a licensed dentist in Ontario.

Her professional interests include aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and endodontic treatments, with a strong focus on combining precision, artistry, and patient-centered care to deliver high-quality results.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Nada enjoys exploring new places with her family and spending time walking in nature.

Saba

Dental Assistant

Saba Sarwar is a dental assistant with over 5 years of experience, dedicated to supporting exceptional patient care and helping create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.

Her professional interests include chairside assisting, patient care coordination, and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinical environment to support both patients and the dental team.

Outside the clinic, Saba enjoys spending quality time with her family and indulging in a bit of shopping.

Maria

Dental Hygienist

Maria is a passionate Registered Dental Hygienist who is dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient. She focuses on preventive care, patient education, and gentle, thorough cleanings, always prioritizing patient comfort.

She enjoys building genuine connections with her patients and strives to ensure everyone feels cared for, understood, and at ease during their visit.

Outside the clinic, Maria enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and continuing to grow professionally within the dental field.

Michelle

Dental Hygienist

Michelle is a compassionate and dedicated dental hygienist at Proxima Dental. She strives to ensure every patient enjoys a positive, comfortable visit and feels genuinely cared for.

With a particular talent for helping anxious patients feel at ease, Michelle combines a gentle touch with clinical expertise to create a calming and reassuring experience. Her goal is always for patients to leave with a brighter smile and renewed confidence.

When she’s not in the office, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors; fishing, camping, and recharging in nature, so she can bring her best energy and care to the Proxima Dental community.

Ola

Office Manager

Ola is the Office Manager at Proxima Dental and has been part of the dental field since 2018, following her graduation in Healthcare Management. She is passionate about creating a stress-free, welcoming experience for every patient and takes pride in helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.

Ola believes that dentistry is not just about treating teeth, it’s about helping people smile with confidence and feel good about themselves.

Outside the office, Ola enjoys skiing in the winter and exploring Toronto’s restaurant scene in the summer, always on the lookout for new dishes and hidden gems.
